PM Modi arrives in Germany for G20 Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Hamburg on Thursday from Israel to attend this year's G20 Summit on July 7-8.
 
Concluding a historic visit to Israel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday left for Hamburg, Germany, to attend the G20 Summit.
 
On Friday, Modi will attend the leaders' retreat where heads of state and government of the G20 countries will interact with each other informally.
 
Breaking protocol, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saw Modi off at the airport.
 
A historic visit, filled with many firsts and the promise of future ends as PM Netanyahu goes beyond protocol again to bid farewell to PM, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay tweeted.
 
In Hamburg, Modi will attend a leaders' retreat on Friday in which heads of state and government of G20 countries will informally meet each other.
 
On the sidelines of the Summit, he will attend a meeting of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) leaders.In Hamburg, Modi will attend a leaders' 
 
Bilateral meetings between Modi and leaders of Argentina, Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Britain and Vietnam have also been lined up in Hamburg.
