Farm Tech 2011, Jaipur, Rajasthan 11th to 14th November 2011

APEDA sponsored “Farm Tech 2011” held in the pink city of India called Jaipur, the state capital of Rajasthan. APEDA’s participation was organised in an area of 18 sq mtr stall. The event highlighted the Farming techniques and financial benefits to farmers and exporters. APEDA’s participation was organised to disseminate information about the role and activities of APEDA in field of Agri exports. The information on APEDA’s membership procedure, the agri trade portal, APEDA’s role in promoting exports and financial assistance schemes of APEDA and their benefit were disseminated in the fair.
The event was formally inaugurated by Mr. Babu Lal, Hon’ble Minister of Food and Civil Supplies, Dairy and Agriculture, Rajasthan. In the event Department of Agriculture, Rajasthan, Embassies of Canada and Ethiopia, noted Public and Private sector banks, State Horticulture Department, Central and State Warehousing Corporation and State Agri Marketing Board also participated. New innovations in the farming sector and Government’s role into agri exports caught the attention of the visitors.
APEDA was represented in the event by Mr. Sandeep Saha, Executive EDP and Mr. Janardan Prasad, Assistant Executive.
