21 Dec 2017 HONDURASFood and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards - NarrativeOn July 20, 2017 the Honduran Government launched its new sanitary regulatory agency (Agencia de Regulacion Sanitaria – ARSA). The agency is responsible for sanitary registration, surveillance, and inspection of food products approved to be sold at the retail and wholesale level. 05 Feb 2015 HONDURASHonduras : Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards - NarrativeThe Honduran Government changed the name of the Sanitary Regulation Directorate (SRD) to the “General Directorate of Surveillance of the Health Normative Framework (DGVMN).” The National Plant and Animal Health Service (SENASA) modified its Quarantine Procedures Manual. The new Manual indicates that when a non-quarantine pest is found alive or dead, the quarantine treatment will not be applied. The modification saves importers time and money that would have been used on the treatment. Click Here
