Bangladesh: Govt to allow rice import reducing duty if needs: Food minister.

The government will allow rice import by reducing duty if necessary to meet the local demand, Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder said on Wednesday.
The food minister made the remark while addressing a meeting with the traders to discuss measures to control rice prices, held at the auditorium of Kushtia district administration on Wednesday.
