Relish GI-tagged Kari Ishad mango at 15-day Lalbagh mela.

The 15-day mango-jackfruit mela that started at Lalbagh on Friday has a new attraction: Kari Ishad variety of mangoes.
Kari Ishad, which got geographical indication (GI) tag from the Centre, is a unique variety cultivated only in a few villages of Ankola taluk in Uttara Kannada district.
