Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu today called on the Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi. On this occasion, Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Ram Mohan Naidu  and Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications, Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani were also present. During the meeting productive discussion on the topics of agriculture, farmers' welfare, and rural development in Andhra Pradesh was held.

The Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (ABIOVE) and The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA), associations representing the vegetable oil industries in Brazil and India, respectively, have signed in 2023 a protocol that establishes robust collaboration between the two countries in this industrial segment.

The FSSAI has issued a direction for re-operationalisation of Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Amendment Regulations, 2022, related to Labelling Requirements for minimally processed food, tolerance limit and so on.
