India today said Japan is sharing all information regarding nuclear radiation and it has the mechanism to take care of goods coming from the tsunami-hit country."I think what is coming particularly is food articles and all. I can say that despite the terrible tragedy that has been fall on Japan, their institutions are efficient and they are sharing all information with other countries that includes India,".

Govt slashes onion MEP to $275/tone
18March 2011
The government slashed the minimum export price (MEP) of onions for the third time this month to $275 a tonne from the earlier price of $350 a tonne as retail prices declined.“MEP of onions other than Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions would be $275 a tonne FoB (freight-on-board),”.
