India grain prices favour exports

Indian wheat and rice are competitively priced to enter the global market if government lifts the ban on exports, say traders. However, with rising cost of transportation, final export sales would depend on the ports through which the cargoes would be sent. Haryana gets award for wheat

Australia - Mutton exports down 22%

Australian mutton exports fell 22% during 2010-11, to 86,222 tonnes swt - the lowest fiscal year total since 1984-85 (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry).
