APEDA adopts cluster approach on exports to beat global slowdown

All food manufacturers require FDA licence

All food manufacturers, be it small retailers and street hawkers or canteens and starred hotels, will have to register or obtain a licence from the food and drugs administration (FDA) as part of a change in the administrative regime for the industry. Vietnam: Agricultural imports rise 23%

Viet Nam saw a year-on-year increase of 22.6 per cent to US$10.4 billion in the first eight months of this year in imports of material for production and processing and finished products for the farming.
