Dhaka seeks long-term deal with Delhi

"We've signed agreements with Thailand and Vietnam to procure food grains under g-to-g (government-to-government) basis and we want to have a similar agreement with India, too," said food and disaster minister Mohammad Abdur Razzak on Saturday.

Karnataka horticulture dept-APEDA to review veg exports infra

Karnataka department of horticulture has now teamed up with Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) to review its infrastructure for vegetable exports. The state has been receiving considerable orders from the Middle-East and the European Union to widen its basket of exports.

Alphonso sales in the US growing at 25-30% since 2007
