In a move to strengthen export trade relations between India and Bangladesh, a meeting between businessmen from both countries was held on Tuesday at 5 pm at the Hili International Land Port in South Dinajpur. The meeting, aimed at improving the export trade through this border, saw the participation of prominent traders from both nations.
The Trade Connect e-Platform is a single window initiative that is fast, accessible and transformational as it will enable exporters to add newer markets. This was stated by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal during the launch of the Trade Connect e-Platform today in New Delhi.
Goyal emphasised that the UAE's forward-looking vision for the next 50 years aligns closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a prosperous India. He noted that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two nations will usher in a new era of bilateral trade, fostering growth across sectors and setting the stage for innovative collaborations.
