A Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with India makes "little sense" for Bangladesh if New Delhi does not remove more than a dozen non-tariff and para-tariff barriers to Dhaka's exports, a government study has said. Vegetables import from India begins

Pakistan has started importing vegetables from India and Iran after losing much of its output to recent rains, market sources told The News. Import from India through Wagah border started this week. Currently 100-150 trucks of tomatoes are reaching daily. India has offered to send up to 400 trucks daily, but Pakistani customs officials clear about 150 trucks, sources said.
