India may achieve USD 2 trillion exports target by 2032: Piyush Goyal.
The target of taking India's goods and services exports to USD 2 trillion is likely to be achieved around 2032, instead of the earlier goal of 2030, due to global uncertainties, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday. He said the Covid-19 pandemic impacted the country's exports, followed by turbulence and volatility in the global trading order, adding that the volatility now appears to be gradually settling down.

A scientific–farmer–administrative coordination team to be formed in the state for agricultural development; strategies to enhance crop diversification and productivity to be implemented.
Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing a state-level review meeting followed by a press interaction in Raipur today, said that Chhattisgarh is making remarkable progress in the fields of agriculture and rural development. He informed that a joint team comprising scientists, farmers, and officials from the Central and State governments will be constituted this week to develop strategies for crop diversification and enhancement of productivity in line with local agro-climatic conditions. Along with this, integrated farming systems and programmes to create diversified income sources for small and marginal farmers will be implemented across the state.

India's Oct-Jan sugar output up 18.35 pc to 19.50 mn tonne : ISMA.
India's sugar production rose 18.35 per cent to 19.50 million tonne till January 31 of the ongoing 2025-26 season on higher output in key states, industry body ISMA said on Saturday. Sugar output stood at 16.47 million tonne in the same period of the previous season. Sugar season runs from October to September.
