Export prices for guava from India mostly stable, demand is strong. The production and exports for guavas from India are constantly growing, according to Sourabh Jaiswal, Business Development Manager for Indian produce exporter KK Star: 'Our guava production has continued its steady growth. This means that overall, guava cultivation has increased, and this year's output is higher than in previous years as a result. The weather is playing a mixed role this season. In southern states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, there was heavy rainfall from March to April, which helped maintain good soil moisture for guava crops. On the other hand, some central regions such as Madhya Pradesh faced a shortage of rain, which put stress on the plants and could affect the final yields. Weather unpredictability remains a challenge for growers.' Source: freshplaza.com |
