7 04 JAN 2024 MALAYSIA Revised Malaysian Labeling Requirements Effective January The Food Safety and Quality Division (FSQD), Ministry of Health has revised the several labeling requirements under the Food Regulation 1985. 24 31 DEC 2011 Malaysia Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards - Certification On July 1, 2011 Malaysia’s veterinary authority imposed on-site inspection requirement for foreign pork abattoirs. Pork product imports are only allowed from abattoirs that have been inspected and approved by the Department of Veterinary Services. On December 14, Malaysia notified the WTO on a regulation related to halal certification and labeling. Click here
25 28 DEC 2011 Malaysia Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards - Narrative On July 1, 2011 Malaysia imposed an on-site inspection requirement for foreign pork abattoirs. On October 1, 2011, Malaysia began fully enforcing new grading, packaging and labeling regulations on fruits and vegetables. On December 14, Malaysia notified the WTO regarding a regulation on halal certification and use of labeling.
