Indian flowers a hit in international markets

India earned $48.5 million (around Rs 215.27 crore) from exports of flowers to over 90 countries last year. The government earned a total foreign exchange of $48.5 million (about Rs 215.27 crore) from the export of flowers during April 2010 to December 2010, according to the official data.
