First-ever export of Anthurium Flowers from Mizoram to Singapore, a fillip to India's Floriculture Potential. In a significant step towards enhancing India’s floriculture export potential, particularly from the North Eastern Region (NER), the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), in collaboration with the Department of Horticulture, Government of Mizoram, successfully facilitated the flagging off of the first consignment of Anthurium flowers from Aizawl, Mizoram, to Singapore. Gujarat extends registration deadline for wheat farmers to April 5. The deadline for registration of wheat farmers wanting to sell their rabi crop at Minimum Support Price (MSP) has been extended to April 5, Gujarat government said on Thursday. The government extended the deadline to allow wheat farmers who missed the earlier deadline to register themselves online. The Gujarat government had begun online registration for farmers on March 1 and ended it on March 16. The pending online registrations are being done and biometrically authenticated for farmers through e-gram centres operated by Village Computer Entrepreneurat the village-level.
