Government Pushes Cooperative Agri Exports: NCEL & APEDA Sign MoU to Boost Farmer-Led Export Ecosystem
n a significant move to strengthen India’s agricultural export ecosystem, National Co-operative Exports Limited (NCEL) and the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperative-led agricultural exports. The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani, a 1992 batch of Assam-Meghalaya cadre and Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.

Uttar Pradesh may harvest bumper crop this kharif on higher area
As there has been no major report of crop damage from Uttar Pradesh, the State is expected to harvest bumper rice and some other crops due to favourable weather this year.The total area has reached 138.40 lh until Sept 5, which is 11 per cent higher from 124.39 lh a year ago. The current area is more than 20 per cent higher from the State’s normal (past five years’ average) coverage of 115.20 lh.

India, EU trade pact talks in fast lane: Goyal
Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal Tuesday said trade talks with the EU on a proposed free trade agreement are progressing fast and both sides would be in a position to "substantially conclude" the pact by the time EU trade and agriculture commissioners visit India. Almost 60-65% of the chapters are now completed and finalised, he said.The 13th round of negotiations for the free trade agreement (FTA) are ongoing.
