Bangladesh: Rice import from India resumes at Benapole land port after 4 months.
After a four-month pause, Bangladesh has resumed rice imports from India through Benapole Land Port. On Thursday night, nine trucks carrying a total of 315 tons of rice entered yard No-31 of the port at around 9:30pm, Shamim Hossain, director of Benapole Port, said on Friday.

India exports Angul lemons to U.S. markets.
Lemons from Angul (Anugul) district in Odisha have been exported to the United States this month, with nearly 100,000 pieces shipped in three consignments. European Trade Commissioner may visit India next month, FTA on agenda.
European Commissioner for Trade Maros Sefcovic is likely to visit India next month to take stock of the progress of free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations with Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, an official said on Wednesday. Centre revises Wheat Stock limit till 31st March 2026.
In order to manage the overall food security and to prevent hoarding and unscrupulous speculation, the Government of India imposed stock limits on wheat applicable to Traders/Wholesalers, Retailers, Big Chain Retailers and Processors in all States and Union Territories. The Removal of Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions on Specified Foodstuffs (Amendment) Order, 2025 was issued on 27 May 2025 and was applicable for all States and Union Territories.
