A hundred tonnes of Atap rice were imported from India through the Banglabandha land port yesterday (08 December), for the second time this year, in Panchagarh. Four trucks of rice reached the country's port from noon to afternoon yesterday, Sunday.

Bihar Government has signed 14 ‘Letters of Intent’ during the Food Processing Investors' meet, entailing an investment of Rs 2,181 crore, which is likely to create 4,175 employment opportunities. The ‘Letters of Intent’ were signed to bolster the State's agro-industrial ecosystem.

The beneficiary selection process under PLISFPI was conducted as a one-time exercise, preceded by active stakeholder engagement and extensive publicity to ensure broad participation.
