High-powered panel grants in-principle approval to various projects under NABARD's RIDF.
A high-powered committee headed by the Kerala chief secretary has granted in-principle approval to infrastructure development projects worth Rs 1,441 crore in the state under tranche 31 of NABARD's Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), the Chief Minister's Office said on Saturday. The National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development's (NABARD) RIDF tranches are annual allocations of funds for rural infrastructure development in India.

Haryana govt encouraging farmers to cultivate horticultural crops.
The Haryana government is introducing new provisions to encourage farmers to cultivate horticultural crops. Under the initiative, farmers are being motivated to engage in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and spices, a spokesperson of the Horticulture Department said.

Cargo facility at Keshod airport to boost mango exports from Gujarat.
In a move set to sweeten the prospects of mango growers in Saurashtra, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is planning to develop a dedicated cargo facility at Keshod Airport to facilitate exports of Gujarat's famed Kesar mango. The facility, to be completed once the airport's expansion project concludes in 2027, is expected to open new export avenues and directly link local farmers with global markets.

Govt allows 1.5 MT sugar exports for 2025-26, removes molasses duty.
The Centre has decided to allow export of 1.5 million tonne (MT) of sugar for the 2025-26 sugar season that started from October, according to Food Minister Pralhad Joshi. The Union Food Ministry has also decided to remove 50 per cent export duty on molasses, he said in a letter dated November 7 to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Fourth Round of India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement Negotiations Concludes Successfully.
The fourth round of negotiations on the India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) concluded today in Auckland and Rotorua, following five days of constructive and forward-looking discussions between the two sides. Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, and New Zealand Minister for Trade, Mr. Todd McClay, acknowledged the steady progress made during this round and reaffirmed their commitment to work towards a modern, comprehensive, and future-ready FTA.

Russia’s Wheat Gluten Exports To India Up Nine-Fold During 2025 Year-to-Date.
Russia increased its exports of wheat gluten to India 9-fold year-on-year to over 1,500 tonnes in January-September 2025, while the value of the exports grew almost 7-fold to reach US$1.7 million, Russia’s Agroexport federal center reported. Russia started exporting this product to India in 2020.

TN procured over 6,000 MT of ragi in last 3 years.
The Tamil Nadu government has procured 6,453 metric tonnes of ragi from farmers and has disbursed Rs.26.48 crore to the farming community since 2022-23, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies R Sakkarapani said on Sunday. The State government under its 'decentralised procurement scheme' decided to procure ragi from the farmers in 2022-23 and in the first phase Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts were covered, he said in an official release.

Trump may visit India next year even as trade talks hang in air.
US President Donald Trump indicated that he could travel to India next year, telling reporters at the White House that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants him to visit the country. He lavished praise on Prime Minister Modi, calling him 'a great friend of mine' and 'a great man', and declared that India had largely stopped buying Russian oil, but did not announce any plans to lift the additional 25% tariff imposed by his administration on India on this count.

India, New Zealand make steady progress in FTA.
India and New Zealand had detailed engagements across key tracks, including trade in goods, trade in services, economic and trade cooperation, and rules of origin in the fourth round of talks for their proposed free trade agreement (FTA), the government said on Saturday. Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal met New Zealand trade minister Todd McClay, wherein they acknowledged the 'steady progress' made during this round. Goyal was on a visit to New Zealand from November 5 to 7 to review the progress of the FTA negotiations. McClay is expected to visit India next week.

Poultry exports double in H1FY26 on strong demand from the Middle East.
India’s poultry exports have more than doubled to about $149 million during the first six months of the current financial year on robust demand for eggs from the Middle East. Exports of poultry product such as eggs and egg products stood at $71.16 million in the same period last year.
