APEDA Organizes 'Indian Mango Mania 2025' in Abu Dhabi to Promote Indian Mango Exports.
The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry organized a Mango Promotion Programme in Abu Dhabi as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the global presence of Indian agricultural products, particularly mangoes. The event marked the launch of ‘Indian Mango Mania 2025’—a vibrant in-store mango festival held in collaboration with the Embassy of India in the UAE and the Lulu Group. Timed with the peak of the mango season, the promotion aims to showcase India’s finest mango varieties to international consumers, especially the large Indian diaspora across the UAE and the Gulf region.

Third Edition of Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) to be held from 4th – 9th February 2027 in Delhi-NCR.
The third edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) is scheduled to be held from 4th to 9th February 2027 in the National Capital Region of Delhi. The event aims to bring together various stakeholders from across the mobility spectrum, including industry representatives, policymakers, and technology experts. Organised with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Heavy Industries, BMGE has evolved as a comprehensive platform for showcasing developments across the automotive and mobility value chain. The first two editions, held in 2024 and 2025, drew participation from a wide cross-section of the industry and focused on themes such as clean mobility, innovation, and integration with global supply chains.

A developed Jammu & Kashmir is essential for the vision of a developed India — Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Union Minister for Agriculture, Farmers’ Welfare, and Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a detailed review meeting with Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah at the State Secretariat in Srinagar today. Speaking at a press conference later, Shri Chouhanemphasised that a developed Jammu & Kashmir is crucial to Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Several important decisions were taken in the interests of farmers and rural residents of the region, he said.

India’s coffee shipments up 19 per cent in Q1FY25 at $616 million.
India’s coffee exports during the June quarter increased by 19 per cent in value to around $616 million, despite an 18 per cent decline in the volume, on higher prices. In the same period last year, coffee shipments’ value stood at $517 million. As per the Coffee Board’s latest data, the shipments volume during the June quarter, based on the permits issued, was 1.03 lakh tonnes, down from 1.27 lakh tonnes in the same period last year.

US-India trade deal: India may relent on GM animal feed, stays firm on dairy & agri.
India is looking to allow imports of certain genetically modified (GM) farm products used in animal feed as part of the proposed bilateral trade deal with the US but New Delhi remains firm on not giving concessions in market access in the sensitive dairy and agricultural sectors, people said. Talks on the deal are nearing conclusion with some last minute finetuning, said a person privy to the development, adding it could be announced well before the July 9 deadline when the US government's moratorium on reciprocal tariffs ends.

Ghana-India trade hits $3 billion amid strong bilateral ties – Foreign Minister.
Trade between Ghana and India has reached an impressive $3 billion with Ghana maintaining a favourable balance, Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, disclosed on Monday ahead of the historic state visit of Indian Prime Minister Mr Shri Narendra Modi. In addition to the strong trade performance, Mr Ablakwa highlighted India’s longstanding role as a trusted development partner, having extended to Ghana lines of credit exceeding US$450 million over the past two decades.

India needs to tread carefully in its trade negotiations with the United States, keeping in view the terms proposed under the latter's trade deal with Vietnam, trade experts say. As per the new trade pact announced by President Donald Trump, the US will impose a flat 20% tariff, besides a 40% tariff on transshipped goods from Vietnam.

India may soon have social security agreement with UK under free trade pact.
India may soon have a social security pact with the UK as an in-built component of the free trade agreement (FTA) which has been finalised between the two countries, a source said on Wednesday. The source said that from now onwards, the social security agreement (SSA) will be an in-built component of all free trade agreements to be negotiated in future.
